Who we are

Organization For Higher Learning (“OFHLONLINE”, “we”, “us”) operates ofhlonline.org and the courses, tools and filing services offered through it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address and password when you register.
• Filing information — the entity, owner and address details you give us in order to prepare a state filing on your behalf.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage information — course progress, quiz results and pages visited, so we can show you where you left off and improve the material.
• Contact and newsletter submissions — what you send us through our forms.

How we use it

• To provide the courses, resources and filing services you buy
• To submit filings to state agencies where you have asked us to
• To answer your questions and provide support
• To send service messages about your account, orders and filing deadlines
• To send the newsletter, if you subscribed — you can unsubscribe from any issue
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse of the platform

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the parties needed to deliver what you asked for: state and federal agencies when filing on your behalf, our payment processor, our hosting and email providers, and professional advisers where required. Each is bound to use the information only for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Account and course records are kept for as long as your account is open. Filing records are kept for the period required by the relevant state and by tax law. You can ask us to close your account and delete what we are not required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Write to support@ofhlonline.org and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Security

Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and access to filing records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password and tell us immediately if you think your account has been accessed.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
